1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Theron application, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Eligibility

Theron is intended for users aged 16 or older. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly provide the service to children.

3. Service Description

Theron provides a triathlon training platform that uses your health and fitness data to generate personalized training plans. The service is designed to help athletes prepare for triathlon events through adaptive scheduling and performance tracking.

Theron is a fitness coaching tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Training recommendations may include AI-generated coaching text. Always consult a healthcare professional before beginning or changing a training program.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features (“Theron Unlimited”) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions. On Android, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple. Prices shown in the store or in-app include the applicable period (monthly or yearly) and local currency.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.
• On Android, manage or cancel in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Restore purchases in the Theron paywall if you reinstall or change devices.
• On iOS, manage or cancel in Apple ID subscription settings.
• Refunds, if any, follow the store’s policies (Google Play or Apple).

Health and fitness coaching access is a digital service. Do not purchase the same digital access through a website checkout while using the Android or iOS apps.

5. Health Data and AI Coaching

If you connect Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Health, Garmin, COROS, Rouvy, Strava, Wahoo, or similar services, we process the health and fitness data you authorize in order to build and adapt your plan. How we collect, store, and share that data is described in our Privacy Statement.

6. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
• Ensuring the accuracy of information provided to the service
• Using the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Consulting with healthcare professionals before beginning any training program
• Training within your own limits and stopping if you feel unwell

7. Limitation of Liability

Theron provides training recommendations based on data analysis, but users are responsible for their own training decisions and safety. The service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Theron Triathlon is not liable for injuries, illness, or other losses arising from your use of the training plans or coaching content.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
